At the June 23 District 28 Board of Education meeting, the Board approved Whitney Fine as the new Assistant Director of Student Services at Meadowbrook School, effective July 1. Ms. Fine joins District 28 from Skokie–Morton Grove School District 69, where she works as an Elementary School Associate Principal, overseeing special education programming. She previously worked as a Pre-K Coordinator in District 69 and as a Special Education Teacher in Golf School District 67.

Ms. Fine holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa. She also holds a master's degree with specialized endorsements in ELL and Reading from National Louis University, and an Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University.
