With the 2026 Winter Olympics on the horizon, Meadowbrook 5th graders got a firsthand taste of Olympic excitement during a recent visit to the Chicago Curling Club in Northbrook.

Construction on the new Meadowbrook gymnasium, which began at the start of the school year, is on track for completion this spring. In addition, the district has gone out to bid for the new Meadowbrook school this month, with construction anticipated to begin once the new gymnasium is completed.
