🚀 Our 5th graders traded their desks for moon buggies today thanks to a cart of VR headsets purchased by our amazing Meadowbrook PTO! They virtually flew to the moon and explored the lunar surface – all while enhancing their current space unit! 🤯 Talk about an out-of-this-world learning experience!

Young Explorers Presents The Power of Play

The Young Explorers leadership team launched a new podcast, The Power of Play.  In our first episode of The Power of Play, we talk about the role of play in the development of cognitive functions, such as problem-solving, memory, attention, and abstract thinking.

Lunchtime procedures and policies

We’ll be eating lunch and snack outside when the weather is nice, and in the gymnasiums (except Kinder and 1st) during inclement weather.Students may go home for lunch as long as a parent or guardian signs a release form with the main office and communicates the plan with the teacher in advance.
